For improved relationships, wellbeing, learning, productivity and creativity

Geelong psychologist to co-lead November 4 workshop

July 31 2017

Geelong psychologist Helen Handsjuk will help people `reclaim their power’ at a Hepburn Springs workshop in early November.

Helen and psychiatrist Leonid Handsjuk will lead the practical mindfulness and bioenergetics workshop together, bringing with them more than 75 years of clinical practice experience and a passion for helping people achieve strong, happy and genuine relationships.

The workshop, ideal for health practitioners and other interested people, will teach participants about the advantages of integrating mind and body through useful, practical mindfulness and bioenergetics practices.

The Saturday, November 4 workshop will also shine a spotlight on the empowerment of self. Participants will gain an understanding of how this empowerment can carry real benefits including increased strength and resilience. It also helps build compassion – for others and yourself – and greater happiness. All these factors can help health practitioners, their clients and others to build better, more fulfilling lives.

And, after all, isn’t that what we all want? Happy, productive lives with genuine relationships, in a strong, caring community – and this workshop can be a valuable part of the process.

Helen, a Geelong psychologist with broad experience, has helped many clients find a happier, healthier path to life. She knows the value of self empowerment and mindfulness and is keen to share her knowledge.

The workshop will take place in The Grande Hotel’s function room in Hepburn Springs, right in the heart of Victoria’s beautiful spa country. Because the event takes place on a Saturday, between 2pm and 5pm, it gives people time to explore the lovely setting before the workshop starts. Participants might choose to spend a weekend at the small town and nearby Daylesford, taking advantage of the many regional attractions.

The carefully-constructed workshop, which meets strict criteria for three hours of Continuing Professional Development, gives people practical ways to reclaim their power, helping them to build positive and strong relationships throughout their lives.

If you would like to know more about this workshop or want to make a booking, please don’t hesitate to contact Geelong psychologist Helen Handsjuk.
